most expensive fish you would be willing to purchase

Do you guys set a limit to how much your willing to spend on a rare and desirable species. When I started in this hobby...I personaly prefer to purchase the fish at cheaper and smaller size....however; I had much better success in rasing fish that are large and older. The most money I paid was about $250 for a 1 foot Arapima. The fish was my pride and joy....and raised it to over 3 ft in a vey short time.....which I had to eventualy give up....just growing too large!

Well it all depends on the type fish. Prices very from species to species. It all comes down to how bad u want the fish. I've seen many fish purchased in the $5k-$10k range but I've seen fish go for $75k too.

most ipaid is in 50 range for juvie plecs gold nugget rip queen abrasque gold fiined sucker mouth and a magum rip.

Most expensive fish i bought was a yepezi stingray 400$
I wish i could afford a super red arowana but they are going here for 2500$$ Some day!!!

I just have to keep dreaming for now!!

We spent about $50 each for our silver arro's, but if had the extra $$ laying around, I'd spend the $250 for a zebra pleco.
