most expensive fish you would be willing to purchase

I can't wow anyone here with my big purchases. The most was $50 for young pigeon blood discus, and in second place was $18 a long while back for some beautiful Pseudotropheus Demasoni (hardly the fish to discuss with monster fish keepers, but man I loved them. Once they bred I had 30+ and that was one sharp tank).

I've always bought young fish and grown them up (Oscars, Angels, Discus, Pirhana, millions of Africans). Right now saving for a bigger (240) tank for my Oscars. Written submissions to your wife? Man I thought I was the only one!!

What do I want? An Arowana, no question.
 
Its how bad i want the fish and if its going to fit in my budget. :D
I plead the fifth on exactly how much.
 
The most I have spent so far was $15 for my silver Arowana...(I got him @ petco on a clearence sale! he was 4" and now he is 1'3"!!)...I usually like to buy the fish small and to see them grow...:)
 
If I want it, ill buy it.
 
Guys! We all know that we should be aware what sort of fish we have.. most important let the fish you have reflect your character.. well it actually does, look at your fish, thats 90 percent you..
