Mouth full of tank water....

Go on, share your mouth full of tank water experience with us.. it's happend at least once.....
 
As stated, better ways are out there. I have a big Rio pond pump for starting siphons in large tanks. I just drop the pump and hose end into the tank, plug it in for a few seconds to start the flow, then unplug it. Then I pop the hose off the pump and pop on my siphon tube (hose staying submerged the whole time, obviously) and vacuum away.

Not that I haven't encountered my fair share of mouthfuls of tank water.

I was dosing my tank with salt because my catfish had this white spot on him... and I wanted to know if I was putting too much salt so I stuck my tongue in the water just to see how salty it was.... just for a second.. :D

y'all are too busy being perverted to notice that she said she INTENTIONALLY tastes her tank water to test for salinity! :ROFL::screwy::ROFL::screwy:
 
I'm not sure if I mentioned this before or not, but my hose is black and I'm for dam sure not going to go get another 25' just so I can see through it.. I really didn't consider it when I purchased it... retarted me!

No matter what you do, some will always get swallowed...
