  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Simply awesome.
I hope to get a 240 long from Glass Cages as well.
They are sweet tanks.
Good Luck and I cannot wait to see more photos

Thanks Jayzao, photos incoming.

Here are some crappy photos of looking down into the overflows for fun, with the bulkheads now hooked up.

Plumbing went smoothly, pretty straight forward stuff here. Using a T-pipe to return to both overflows. I went pretty overkill on pipe tape and glue for making sure there won't be any leaks. Filled the overflows for fun and the bulkheads seem to be on tight enough.

I hammered the rest of the trim on, so you can see that the stand now looks much better. Hose in place for a bit of filling. Added another bag of sand as well and stuck one heater in each overflow.

Filled to about five inches and will now let it sit for a while to make sure the chipped (now heavily sealed w/ silicone) corner holds the 100 gallons or so.

And the aquarium holy water is standing ready...

Enjoy. :)

I'm so jealous! Looks like its going to be a great tank. I really like the dimensions. Good luck with it all and I can't wait to see more pictures =]

Thanks all, tank should be full over the weekend and I'll start moving fish in.

Tank looks amazing! Is that close up of silicone your patch job? If so well done.

No, haha, that was just a close-up of the fill level so far.

The corner is in the back and not very clean-looking at all. :D

More updates:

Spray-painted the back of the tank black. Looks very good. Inside of the tank has too much condensation from the warm water to take pictures.

Bought two 750 GPH powerheads to make sure I get enough water moving around in addition to the 2400 GPH return pump.

Pretty much done for the night. Tired...
