I would try to fasten those overflow tubes up tight to the bottom of the tank. There is too much of a sag in them you are going to get all sorts of gurgling sounds from the overflows. Looks great though Lookinf forward to the stocking

Are you talking about the four tubes connecting the overflows to the sump?

Thanks Red.

I think he means use plumbing hangers to suspend the hose inside the stand. I'm not really sure if that would make much of a difference or not, other than getting them out of the way.

The big grey ones that go from your overflow to the top of the sump. I have the same setup on my 210g and I noticed bad gurgling sound until I pitched the hoses on a diagonal with no sags in them. Now the tank is pretty quiet. I think with the sag it gets somesort of airpocket in the tubing

Gotcha, I haven't had a chance to hear the system running yet but if there is too much noise that will be my first plan of attack. Thanks!

I tried to google the sump you listed, but can't seem to find it. Can you provide a link?

I'll try to get some details from the guy who hooked me up with it. That's the name he gave me for it and he brought it over as is - no box.

Michael

I'm interested in the sump as well. Please post the info when you get. Thanks.

Will do guys.

Added another 50-100 gallons of water... so far, so good.
