My adopted tiger oscar not eating :(

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
it will not hurt. important to keep in mind that it is a preventative and not a cure. its made be used in conjunction with Medifix. your best coarse of action is water changes. until the tank cycles up, these will need to be every other day, at least 70 percent. IMHO.
water changes he will have, i have a pool pump i just need to fit hoses onto it. Which brings me to my next question, what is the best method to add water conditioner with water coming from sink from a pump? add to 30 % in tank, or add to tank afterwards?

what is your water conditioner? prime?

either way no matter fully dose the tank for size of tank, not water replacing and fill it up.

look into getting a python or other water changing system.

all you need is seachem prime or safe. they are both the same thing, one is in powder form (safe) and I suggest you go online and order the safe, allot more cost effective and same product, in the mean time get some prime as that's what the LFS stocks. forget the water clarifier and all that, stuffs made to separate your dollars from your wallet.

what is that filter you are running and is it new?

filter is new, aqueon 75, and a aqua tech 5-15, two right now, smaller one has my brothers established tank filter in it. Plus i have a double bubbler, but i took one hose out and put it in the other tank with the feeders. Figured the feeders would just cause more trouble then help with Sherbert so i left them behind.

give your Oscar no feeders. you need to break him on a quality pellet. and that be his main diet for life. treats are ok, but feeder fish should not be one of them.
