my brothers fish had ick, i borrowed his filter for media for new tank, but the ick had been treated and this is a newer filter from after ick was cured
ahh, not something you need to worry about. keep the water pristine, do the water changes. There is no cure for HITH but pristine water. just pristine water and low stress on the fish. HITH takes a long time in bad water quality, it takes a long time in good water quality to heal. if it created scaring will always be susceptible to getting it again if the ball is droped on keeping the water up.
i have the 75 gallon filter running and the 10-15 running with a bubbler, the water is crystal, ive been checking ammonia and nitrates, still 0ppms since i dropped him in the tank a day or two ago, i need to get a water heater and prime tomorrow, was busy today
update - less sulking, a little more tank movement, will swim to top, then swim back down. Still not eating, upper fin wound slowly healing. One thing ive noticed from the start though, that i read up on today is alot of mouth movement which might suggest struggle or gasp for air?
