Hi im pretty new to the forum and was entertained immensely by this post ,though it actually got painful to read toward the end lol,
i mean just give up the bs, you been caught out by people who, surprise surprise -after years of experience, actually know what they are talking about.
I have only been keeping fish for two years and even i found the cycling explanations slightly insulting .

The only thing that is funny is that it makes you so interested in what I have to say. I am intrigued that you have so much to say about something that make you so annoyed. If you think I am full of it then why do you keep responding. I am intrigued how my miss spelled words push your buttons. And how quick you are to correct my grammar. I am not in here for my spelling. You have turned this thread into something other then what it was suppose to be. It is people like you that make people like me not want to share a good thing. As far as putting this thread back on track I wasn't sure wait you were trying to accomplish until page 6
I think if you explained how this thing works everyone around here would be interesting in hearing. I know you have a patient pending so there might be some stuff that you can’t explain. But can we get a picture or video of the devise? Maybe a simple run down how it changes the pH easily. I know RO filters lower the pH but you say it can raise or lower without chemicals which would be interesting to see how this works.

Sorry about that. But i am trying to make sure that I am not going to get someone who thinks they know more than they do. The pictures and video will come. I just have to ask you to be a little more patient. I am trying to accomplish it all but need time to complete it. I want to make sure that the video contains the information that you are seeking. Within a reasonable amount of time. I have other things that have been coming up that has been stopping me. I wanted to make sure that people will be interested enough to view it. I apoligize for any inconvenience this may cause. It is hard to talk about it to someone who is more interested in spelling then what is being said and their glass is already full.

the system has been running for seven yrs. without a problem and very little maintenance. Aquariums remain stable 24/7 365 1/4 days a yr. Even my nine yr old can maintain it.

Obviously I cannot comment on your system as I have no idea how it works, but I am interested in learning about it. A lot of stuff gets produced for fish keeping that is not necessary but once in awhile something good and useful comes out. Will be interesting to see this product in more detail.
With that said my tanks are also very stable and I do little to them, if you have hard water as most people do pH swings are very rare. From what I’ve seen not all fish need a certain pH but more a stable pH. I have kept tetras in water that is about 7.8 and they have done well for a number of years, even though originally they come from water that is acidic. I like the point that I’ve heard before, My tap water is the same water the fish store uses, my tank might be slightly different but it will be close.
I don’t keep hard to keep species and do not breed fish (live bearing fish don’t count cause they do it too easily) Maybe this system would help with those situations.
Once a tank is cycled I have no problems with biological filtration and all I have is some regular biomedia in the filter. I have to change water to remove nitrates, but plants help with this and I have started using a DIY coil de-nitrator which removes some nitrates cutting back on water changes. Does this system remove nitrates? And if so can you give a basic description how?
