In this thread I will be posting about my new Blue Acuras, thier tankmates and the changes overtime.
-The tank
The tank is a 125gal long glass tank, 6ftX18inX20in. I got it for a steal of a deal tank, glass lids,2 three foot T8 lights, and near profesional made homemade stand all for $400.
-Filtration
To start it has an FX4. I plan on getting another as they grow. I seeded it wirh a bag of biorings that ran for about a year on my Oscar's tank, I also let it run for a month on said Oscar's tank.
-Other equipment
There is an Ehiem 400 airpump. Ehiem/Jager 250watt heater
2 three foot T8 lights
A 2ft long Fluval Aquasky LED (I use this mostly just for the blue lights at night)
-The Fish
4 cb Blue Acuras
20cb Serpae tetras
10 wild Leopard corys
This is the initial stocking, may add either snails or bushynose pleco when the algea get growing.
-Decor
I used Carbisea Instant Aquarium Tahitian moon black sand. Big piece of driftwood that ain't fully soaked so have to keep it weighed down still.
3d looking rock ledge background put on via Seaview mounting solution.
And a special thanks to Vancouver_98683 for helping me get Toni's tank moved and set back up then new tank moved to its spot, and setup.
