My Blue Acara growth and development

The heat shouldn’t be an issue. Acaras can take temperatures into the high 80s for a short term with no issues. I’ve done it multiple times at 88F+ when treating for ich.

I would put a heater in the tank to keep the temperature from swinging wildly if it tends to drop low at night. I keep my blue acaras around 80 most of the time.

Heater is in just not plugged in. I will set it to 82 so it don't swing so much. Good thing is it's been cooler out, bad thing is we are totally socked in due to wild fire smoke. It's so bad they say even healthy adults have to limit thier time outdoors. So bad the sun can't make it thru the smoke, was forecast for 90+today only hit 82. You can taste the ash in the air....
