Looks like that top down flash method produces some beaut shots. My sister is into photography so I'll have to hassle her to add a remote flash to her kit
I got a little carpinte very similar to your "Old" shot you linked too, he's about 1.5" at the moment. Hope mine turns out like yours when he gets bigger!
