Thanks, they are cool livebearers. They have actually been breeding this whole time, I can only tell because the females balloon up super fat, then one day their bellys are sunken in. The babies must get eaten very quickly, never see them. The one time I caught a birth happening, it was stillbirth, a bunch of dead fry came out. The fry these guys make are giant.Fish are looking awesome. Really like the a. Splendens. I’ve been wanting them. Any luck breeding them yet?

Moved my CA community to a 90 gallon. Tamasopoensis laid eggs, is defending them with no male. Hard to get a good pic, you can see the eggs on the wood to her left here.

ameca splendens, less common livebearer from Mexicowhats that fish in the second pic? i like him.
55 and a 50, both acrylic seaclear tanks. Got em brand new for about half of the normal price. Will be much easier to move and manage while living in an apartment. Then in a couple years, hopefully I will move back to NJ or NY and have room for a 180+.What tank are you replacing it with
something to be said for it, allows you to have different setups at once. Though I can't keep any big monsters for a couple years. Biggest fish will be my istlanum, who has the 55 to himself. Going to sell the 90 as well, have nowhere to store it. I want the next tank I setup after these acrylic ones to be the 180+ anywaySometimes think I should have gone for a few smaller tanks rather then one big one. Are you keeping the 90 as well
