My DID-IT-MYSELF Stand

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The 4x4s carry all the weight directly. The 2x4s on the top and bottom only hold the 4x4s in an upright position.

The 2x4s are not even touching the tank. They protrude all the way around.

Affirmative.

I guess it works, pretty solid, if that is the case. Is this gonna be finished w/ doors and enclosed or as it sits? If it is gonna be finished and storage area a concern?

Bolts? How So?

Will be finished with cabinet. Need to fit wet/dry, Ocean Clear 340, Fluval FX5, and pump. Hope it will all fit.

if you used bolts through the 2x4's and 4x4's you could have got away with using just 6 4x4's. i guess it doesn't really matter though since you are making a cabinet.

I see. I actually wanted to use more 4x4s. I'm all about overkill.

The reason I asked is because your design is no way the most efficient for storage. Your supports kill storage space.
