I have to leave it open. The stand is 5' long. I want to put two tanks underneath. One will be a 15 gallon tank, 2' feet long. The other will be 3' long. I haven't bought the 3 footer yet. It has to be custom made, because it won't be a standard size. It will be 18" wide, and don't know how tall because I don't have enough room. So, both tanks will be covered on the sides by the supports. This stand will barely fit two more tanks. I'm trying to fit as many tanks as I can into my garage sized studio. I will be building another stand later on. That one will fit 3-4 more tanks. The tanks will be stacked one on top of another. I'm trying to fit 20-30 gallon breeder tanks.

So, the I nailed on a piece of plywood on top. I'm going to get some cushioned floor mats later on to put on top of the plywood. I can't find a good piece of styrofoam here. The floor mat is about an inch thick. This will act as a shock absorber for the Taiwanese earthquakes here.

I've been through a few little quakes. I haven't been through a big quake yet. My tank is actually tempered glass, and thinner than regular glass. As far as pics, let me show you some local pics.
