If it were me, I would get a bunch of monster bichirs, maybe a tigrinus catfish, an arowana or two and a couple flagtail.

Think like this, in a monster tank ou have to fill three areas, upper area, middle area and bottom area. To the top area you have Arowanas and Gars (you could put both together), in the middle area you have Armatus, Dats, Cichla etc… In the bottom you can put cats, rays or poly's.. you choose..

Funny how people keep posting rays after the Op said it was NOT an option. SA/CA cichlids are the standard for a tank that size.
