nope its not albino...and the thing is AWSOME! just tell ur mom they dont climb and that they dont bite. and i know you have some fish so u can feed them the same food.(mealworms and crickets) i mean dude u can just sit and watch them...good luck hope u can get one...keep me posted.

It's not that.. It's her "fear" of reptiles =\ but she let's me keep turtles... Am still thinking of secretly hiding them. But first where would I? Best place would be outside, it woul be heated alot... Am then I can just go to petco and just get one with out parent signature and stuff like that? Here you have to sign something last time I got a res turtle my grandpa had to sign something(this was like 3-4years ago)

^ not wise.

when i got my first snake i lived with my mum and tried to hide it.
luckily i got the box with all substrate etc first just to see if she would notice.
she did, picked it up and chucked it out the window.
snake would have been dead.
its usually ignorance or bad experience that leads to fear.
my mum now knows kinda everything i know about snakes and will now help me clean out and come round mine (she kicked me out) when i need to get the bog boy out.

lovely leo hun, extremely cute.
id say carry on handling, if he is climbing on your hand then id say he is ready. hes kinda made his own decision lol
x

But this isn't a snake ^_^ my dad said ok! But my mom ugh but I get what u mean my grandpa is thinking about it... But my grandma, blah! I want one for my bday I guess

a fear is a fear. the animal would still die if it was chucked from a 2nd storey window while still in its cage.

all i was saying was try to teach her about it, with the knowledge she will see theres nothing to fear.
doesnt matter what animal it is, i was just using a snake as an example because thats what happened in my case.

Ya prob. I'll have to find more care on them so when am not there he can feedthem easily and stuff. He actualy likes animals he used to work at a reptile house building enclosures and lighting and building ponds for caimans and stuff.

has it eaten yet? Starting to look a bit thin. You might want to start giving it a few waxworms to fatten he/she up.
:iagree::iagree:

You need to get some weight on that poor thing. His tail should be alot fatter than that.
