think meal worms would work? i was thinking on running to the pet store to pick some up. should i get a blastic container and cut a whole in it and put most paper towels in it?because i only have a water bowl in there now.

Technically, mealworms are bad prey, especially because of their hard shell made of chitin. I think you might consider waiting for them to get larger before you give a try with mealworms. Impaction might occur at their young age. Waxworms? Nice and fatty, occasional treat to fatten your leos would be a good choice.

nice =)

I've had my leos for 3 years one almost 4 and most of their diet has been mealworms since they were small. Your leos will be fine on mealies trust me i know many poeple who use them. They are easy to breed and make great feeders when gut-loaded. Plus their great for when you go on vacation because you can just leave them in a bowl and their good to go. I've always been a worm guy and I hate crickets so my reptiles get alot of worms in their diet.

Dude seriously just google leopard gecko care because you are asking alot of basic husbandry questions. You will literally get 100's of care sheets. Read as many as you can and they will tell you everything you need to know. Now to answer your question yes you can get mealies from the pet store. As for shedding a humid hide is a good idea. Just cut a little hole in a Tupperware container and fill lit with moss, paper towels, exco earth, etc...

Therefore, please don't tell us you have done research when you haven't. It is apparent.
