Now starting to stuff smnelt with massivore, since it can eat a whole small to medium smelt i out a massivore in it. After this for a few weeks i will try to completetly pellet train in. It is amazing how much the body is thickening up due to consistent eating. Also the spunk its personality is gaining.
Haven't updated for a while. I have now got it off of smelt and onto massivore stuffed tilapia. Hoping this will bulk it up as well as lead to pellet training. It is very less skittish and seems to be growing but slowly it did go a hunger strike for a week to take to tilapia but other than that feedings have been easy and it is an enjoyable fish.
Will get pics this week. Just a little update. Showing interest in massivore if I can starve/ only feed my tank massivore for a week to ten days I believe the GATF will give in but i enjoy feeding variety. Just a slow grower eats tilapia readily slowly adding girth and depth to its body.
Growing slowly but steadily. Feedings have been a little difficult at time as there are 2 3 days stretches it won't eat but for the most part good.
Looking great, troy. He seems to be very chill judging by that beautiful un damaged snout.
Thank you.He is pretty chill. Have only seem him spazz out maybe 1 or 2 times and not really that bad knock on wood. The 2 masheer housed with it actually spazz out more than it.
