My idea for the pond i am making . Will it work or not ?

I understand now, an 8x6 shed with roughly a 8x6 pond right?

Again curious, so this a wooden shed it outside right? Or a metal one, heated and outside and your in North yorks? What are you planning on insulating it with, your going to waste a ton of cash on heating if you don't?

Not picking a fight(I've just read that back) just curious?

Yer 8x6 , but as i am insluteing it and cladding it will make the pond slightly smaller , only by a couple of inch tho so the pond will be something like ( not realy sure unless i go measure the shed ) 7.10Foot x 5.10Foot . Give or take a couple inch .

Outside wooden shed , insulated in the fluffy woolie stuff claded in plywood . i will be heating the the pond with a 1Kwatt exturnal swimming pool heater aswel as in the winter i will plug in a small electric heater to heat the shed to keep in air in inside the shed at a consent temp' and not let the pond get to cold that the 1Kwatt heater in on 24/7 .

Yer , hope it works out well , hopfully i large main filter for the pond be enough to filter the pond and the tank and keep everything crystal clear and fish all happy .

The orignal size of the inside of the shed is 8x6 Foot but because i am insulateing it inside with the fluffy wool stuff and cladding it with Plywood to cover the fluffy stuff it will make the the shed inside slightly smaller, somthing along the lines of 7Foot 10Inch x 5Foot 10Inch .

Them measurements are just a quess , unless i go outside measure the shed i am not sure what the in of the shed is , i am just trying to explain to someone a couple posts back asking about how big the pond will be in side the shed .

Your not really leaving a lot of room for you with the pond that size, filter, and heater is there going to be enough room for seating left over, after all you'll want to spend some time in there viewing the fish?

The insulation sounds good with the ply, what about the pond I'm guessing that will be done to. I take it it's a standard type of shed and most have side batons so you'll get plenty insulation in there, what about the roof? Does that have the same batons?
