exacty what Gator said, poor diet and water conditions. feed your LMB different stuff, minnows, insects, and craws and shrimp because they have the most protein. I feed my 2 Black Crappie everyday and since they moved in with me 1 month ago theyve both grown at least 1 inch. Just keep a rotating diet. Dont feed it the same stuff because your fish loses energy catching feeders because they dont offer much protein for him to sustain a healthy diet. Just keep trying new food ideas and eventually you will find what your bass wants the most.Gator;3083142; said:Looks like a washed out LMB probably due to poor water quality and poor diet. Putting a 6" gar in with a 12" LMB isn't the best Idea. It might take only a matter of seconds or minuets before you see a LMB with a belly full of gar. LMB will eat any fish that will fit in their mouths and sometimes those that don't.
