My lemon Ancistrus albino pleco pair birthed all black BN

I thought breeding 2 lemon BN would give me at least some albinos but all I got were black some lighter but definitely not albino, didn't even get one to line breed. You have similar results or can this happen? Going to try a different male next time.

when you say lemon are you talking about the yellow albinos?

ok that is actually a L144 i.e. blue eyed albino bristlenose, as to why they are throwing browns that is very strange are both L144s or just the male?

ok I just re-read that both are L144, are they the only 2 bristlenose in the tank?

Yes, she is the same and hiding right now. They are the only two in that tank before I removed the eggs and dad. Now she is in there all by herself.

She hid most of the day ,yesterday ;was able to get this one.

it maybe the light causing red eye but that looks like a regular albino female not a L144

She has pink and he has dark blue.
