So, my little fish ain't little fish any more and I believe I have the beginning of a pair forming, so I now need to shift on the other four fish, though I'd keep them all if I could.
I was going to keep only a solo male, but seeing the young couple together makes it too much for me to resist trying the pair...
I will be listing them in the appropriate section here, but if anybody reading this wants or knows anybody who might want a beautiful Creamsicle F1, Lake Arenal, Costa Rican amphilophus citrinellus, please contact me as quickly as possible.
They're from Cichlids of the Americas, brought into UK by Rob Johnston of Lincs fish (who told me he'd have them back off me if I could ship them to him).
I'm in a hurry, as they're now getting too much to keep together and because the pair might kick things up a gear any time soon...

All but Twin are about 5 - 6 Inch and Twin is about 4 Inch...

This is Bracket and Spotty.
They have been very obviously pairing up for a few days and ferociously defending their corner of the tank.
I had already decided to keep Bracket as hes developed into a bit if a bruiser and was seriously considering trying to keep little Spotty as his girlfriend as she is a sweetheart... and FIESTY! So I'm so happy they chose each other...!
She's WAY smaller than him, so what I'll do is put in plastic tube (with sand siliconed over, so it blends in) which only she fits in, in case he gets heavy handed....
