If your not comfortable grabbing him by hand... take a pillow case and put it in the tank on the bottom... lower the water lever till you feel comefortable to guide the fish over the pillowcase and pull it up over both sides, then pull him out... if you can guide it INTO the pillow case that will work as well

They are quite dangerous to move by hand at that size, i know of people who got their hads caught behind 2' nigers pecs and gave them very nasty cuts which bleed. Id personally use a pillow case.

I would grab by hand but I've been handling fish my whole life... which is why I gave you the pillow case solution

How stupid am I... I'll grab that but won't grab a little garden snake ... Big ones more than 2' no problem any snake smaller than that and I won't touch it... I don't get it ...
