To me these cf wolves look just like the "Iguaza" that's in the 750. With them being caught close to Iguaza Falls I'm guessing they could be what we know as Iguaza species, but what exactly Iguazas are is a whole new can of worms. Their jaws lines seem to get them "Mala" IDs yet they sport the hunchback and spoon head of Lacs, with rumored to be similar max size as Lacs.
I keep asking myself what IF Hoplias are like Potomotrygon? What if any Hoplias can breed with any other Hoplias - just like rays. IF that's the case we should just forget ever trying to ID fish that reside where multiple species are found. This things could be hybridizing and evolving right in front of us.
JL - I'm going to post some pics of this said "Iguaza" in a new thread, would love to know your thoughts on what you think it is......
Vince - Thanks for the input! I assumed the Cuda would be just like Odoe - freak out with current. My Odoe will literally sit there and jump into wherever the current is coming from or at least straight into the lids around where the current is. I will definitely give it a try!
