thanks fellas.
he's now in his hospital tank being treated for what may be HEX. He hasn't been eating since i got him and he was pooping white stuff the following morning when i got him...
his tank mate also started poopin white (still eats like a pig though) the 2nd day but she still eats well. so they're both in the 45gal hosp tank now.
Metro + in a 45 gal with a sponge filter. I guess that explains why it was sold for 45 bucks LOL...damn guy!
when i came to buy the fish he was like, "he's been picky with food lately" and "fish usually don't eat for 2-3 days while they adjust to their new environment"

What are the signs that they will become a pair? When I put them in the tank together, they didn't really fight but followed each other for a while, but then once in a while, they would lip lock. Just curious if should put a divider between them or not.
