*knock on wood* but I have never had a fish die on me form Hexamita (white poop/won't eat) and I've had several fry's that came down with it. I never treated them with medication either, I basically kept the water clean, kept the temp around 84 and added more then the usually amount of salt, it took them probably around 2-3 weeks to recover....

I heard that you can put a mirror on the tank for a couple hours a day. It really riles up the FH and make the kok grow.

You are right. I use to have a FH and I put a mirrow in one side of my tank and it because agressive and start changing color and his kok grew too.

how did you do it? Ive treated him in a separate tank with only a sponge filter/heater...3 days treatment of metro + ....still not eating.
