  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks everyone, yea he really is a great looking fish, going to take some time for his slime coat to come back and his colors to look right, but any other suggestions on anything else I can do to help him out, I mean hes already doing so much better but maybe theres something I can also do that I dont know or dont remember.

Thanks

... oh and by wonderful story I don't mean that it was good of the guy to do what he did, I meant about you and how you've turned that fishes life around!

Come on now You Know How Us MFK'ers DO !!!! its all about the fishes lol

Well done on the save:headbang2, some people shouldn't be in this hobby:irked:.

Good for you and great for him! I 'rescued' a 3 yr old Tiger Oscar last fall. He was 6 1/2" then, I measured him just yesterday when I moved him and he's 10" now. An adult that can grow that much after being stunted 3 yrs is amazing. Your guy is going to heal up just fine and I'm so glad you have him.

Congratulations on the pickup/rescues! Just to play devil's advocate a bit, that guy could have been told that the oscar and plec would be FINE in the 30gal by some "know it all" LFS employee... I was once sold a RTC for my 55 gal...

Great save , lucky Oscar . It makes you wonder about the other "monster" fish out their being kept in these little tanks by owners that either dont care or dont know better because the LFS guy said it would be O.K. .

Great save! I'm glad that you were able to provide the oscar a good home. Good clean water and plenty O2 should help it to heal. I don't know about using meds with your other fish in the 125g. It looks like the HITH will heal nicely. Nice job!
