Looks like he has/ had quite bad HITH , but apart from that looks very healthy from them pictures .
For him too sit at the bottom on his side , he could just be sulking which is very common in Oscars when they get put in to new tanks or something is changed in the tank , in a couple of days he should be up and about eating everything he can get in his mouth .

But they only really sulk when put into a new tank or that the tank that it is in has been changed around alot . They will sulk for a couple of days sometime upto a week .
But if you have had yours for awhile it might be more than just sulking yours is going though . Maybe an illness ?! .
