this thread is a joke.
nice male jag, nice pearsei.
nice MIDAS, and nice fish in general.
its not a damn firemouth, its definitely an amphilophus species.
people do your research before talking smack.
and that GT isnt a true rivaltus, its an acara.
thank you come again.
Thanks people, just trying to ID some of my fish thats all! Be nice!
Got some good advice on Jag/Freddy issue still not 100% sure if its a Male or Female.
I know its not a Firemouth, but everyone's entitled to their opinions and that's the way these threads work, experience and knowledge is a wonderful thing when shared.
MIDAS or FESTAE? Don't know but will wait and see, could be right could be wrong, no probs.
By the way I know that the GT isn't a GT, didn't ask if it was a aequidens rivulatus the true GT. I asked if it could possibly be Aequidens sp. Gold Saum and I'm 100% sure that it is.
It is NO way an Acara. I've got a Blue Acara in the same tank with the Gold Saum and the difference's are so easy to see. The Blue Acara dorsal fin does have red/orange color, only the
tail doesn't. While GT dorsal fin and tail both have red/orange color. The Gold Saum body marking are much brighter than my Acara's and the body's are totally different shapes. Temperament of the two are total opposites as the Acara is very timid often bullied, whilst the GS is a little b***ard!
