My Oscars

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Had to separate the RB Pacu from the Oscars.
Either he's very smart, or he's dumb as ...

Maranjon, my latest Oscar had a teared lip which I had to chirurgical remove, and the Pacu has a cut in his upper lip.
I'll post pics when it looks better.
The Pacu is alredy almost healed, but the Oscar...
Mmm.

Could have been worse. He still has his lower jaw.
And now the three Oscars have 200g of their own. (almost) Immediately spawning.

And the Pacu lives in 70g. Rather would have placed him in 130g,
but I hope this summer I can. And he has nice friends now.
Couple Satanoperca Jurupari's, Acarichthys Heckelii male, Crenicichla Saxatilis male, two BGK (5"+6"), and a 4" Oscar..

:D :D

Great rescue and really nice set up. I would also like to see a full tank shot. Those are some really god looking O's.

Way to step up and save the oscars. Well done! Yeah can we see a full tank shot when you get the time?

I was a bit afraid to replace my Pacu..
Tho its a Red Belly, he's 15".
He has no physical scars, but my ceiling was pretty wet. :D

Only one of the pics of my 200g was sharp, so..
Here's my Oscartank:

And heres my livingroom.

To the right of the 200g my window sill with left the South American Puffers, middle the shrimps
(among others the Gold Spotted, extinct), and on the right my Landcrab:

And to the left of the 200g, above the 37g, with Kuhlii's, Corydoras, Yucatan Molly's, etc, and below the 43g with Channa Bleheri, Rumble fish, Paradise fish, Loaches, etc, and on the left the 70g Pacu tank:
(Pacu tank is panoramic, and below it is my comp)

Further to the left the 130g Africa tank, with on top a 20g Brochis Splendens tank:

last tanks on the left are the 55g Africa tank, and the 35g Dat Polota tank:

Also a 4" Pleco lives in here.

The lower lip of my Oscar looks much better now.
I'll post him tomorrow.
