My 'other' little project

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yeah its all over lately. huge wheels, skinny m/t tires on lifted trucks. i guess its the modern mall cruiser look :D the wheels are nice, but 33s are way too small. 37s would have been about right

Not a bad looking Chevy. My father's company vehicle is an '08 Silverado. It's been a decent truck I guess but one day the cruise control stopped working. I guess a tail light bulb or something was out and they share the same fuse. :screwy:

Agreed, that looks silly. Needs smaller diameter wheels and bigger tires... If you want low profile tires and big wheels then lower the truck not lift it. I don't understand that look but I see it more and more.

Agreed.

do you guys actually like lowered trucks? i cant stand lowered trucks, such an abomination!

To an extent only. I wouldn't mind dropping my S10 an inch or two. They sit a little high for such a short truck. Of course, it is a 2 wheel drive. If its a 4x4, then go up or don't go at all.

I don't... Trucks should go up and cars go down. Its a wast of a truck if it can't clear anything. The people who have lower trunks don't do anything with them expect cruse, that's fine but trucks are meant to go off the road. Keep :headbang2

Lowering a truck is the same as filing the teeth off of a saw, defeats the purpose.
that's great
