Remember where there is one aptasia there is generally more. I would just take care of it myself before it has time to spread. Flame scallops are a little more hard to take care of and they prefer a mature reef aquarium. Make sure your nitrates are under control because they do not tolerate them. They also need to be target fed. I feed mine marine snow with a medicine dropper upstream.

Ill try and get something to kill them. What do you recommend to get rid of aptasia?

I only know of a few products, ive heard of aptasia-X, and this chalky powder you squirt into the mouth of the aptasia, ive heard of boiling the infected pieces of live rock, ive heard of putting the infected live rock in full freshwater, ive heard of just pulling them off the rock, ive also heard peppermint shrimp and copperbanded butterflyfish are good eaters of aptasia. Although only some will eat aptasia, not all of them will eat it.

Everybody is out swimming. The goby and the damsel just came out 20 mins ago, i was surprised nobody ran and hide when a group of 10 loud adults walked over and people were tapping on the glass, and putting their nose up to the tank and stuff. nobody seemed to get scared. The clownfish is really active, he has become a favorite.

Hammer corals are really cool. Mine had 8 heads before I fragged it out. One of my favorite lps corals. As for the aiptasia, what I do when I see one is feed it Dt's live phyto and watch for the mouth to open and then stick some gel control super glue in it. It has to be the gel control, that's the only aquarium safe super glue. It kills them because they can't eat and then they just die. Peppermint shrimp are hit and miss with eating them and copperband butterflies are not reef safe.

How about the apitasia eating filefish? I have heard they are hit and miss with being reef safe though....

Yellow gobies are adorable and love branching coral to rest on way up high in the tank. Never hides...

High Fin Banded prawn gobies, also adorable especially when you have the red and white pistol prawn that goes with them. They live in the same hole. The prawn digs and keeps house, the goby brings food in to the prawn. A nice little bestiality setup. You can even do a four way if you find an opposite sex pair of the gobies and a bonded pair of the prawns. Adds great interest.

I like the look of your tank. I like the look of the Tonga branch rock mixed in. Get some more frags and fill that bad boy up!

Hey biggles what lights do you have on your tank? Because idk if it your camera or the lights, but if you had more blue light it would make your fish and coral look better. Also try to find a blue led strip or moonlight for early morning and night, it will also really make your hammer pop. I would post pics of mine with the LEDs on, but I don't have any good pics right now.
