Remember where there is one aptasia there is generally more. I would just take care of it myself before it has time to spread. Flame scallops are a little more hard to take care of and they prefer a mature reef aquarium. Make sure your nitrates are under control because they do not tolerate them. They also need to be target fed. I feed mine marine snow with a medicine dropper upstream.

Ill try and get something to kill them. What do you recommend to get rid of aptasia?
I only know of a few products, ive heard of aptasia-X, and this chalky powder you squirt into the mouth of the aptasia, ive heard of boiling the infected pieces of live rock, ive heard of putting the infected live rock in full freshwater, ive heard of just pulling them off the rock, ive also heard peppermint shrimp and copperbanded butterflyfish are good eaters of aptasia. Although only some will eat aptasia, not all of them will eat it.
