I dont know how to prevent it. I try to keep the water crystal clear. I feed it shrimp and keep the temp at 82. And it still is developing de in its right eye What can be done? It was perfect at one point.

roughly 21-22". Its finally starting to thicken out. I got it big around 19" But has grown and putting on some weight. How old you think it is?

hmm. you dont do feeder right? casue i heard if u do, it cause them to get drop eye cause they are look for it and they move their eye down or something.. im not an arrow expert, but i heard that one reason that causes it..

Ya know, I do feed it feeders once a week. the rest of the days freeze dried shrimp. And market shrimps like for salads. I 'll switch over to a strict diet excluding feeders then. I hate it cause it takes away from it ya know ?
