Never, at least not with me. At the LFS where I got it maybe? I dont know. I have very good lids and keep the water level high so there is almost no room for it to jump. Some times it will strike at a wrinkle in the water and make some noise.

i think ur aro is a female. i had female just lay egg but no male for mating so sad. How to comfirm a silver aro is female? ans: it had reddisd scale

Ive heard a few different theory's. I also heard that it's just a defect that arowana's bred for the hobbyist develop and that Arowana's from their natural habitat dont have this issue.
