Its called aquatic environments its off of wolf. You might not think its a good corals place but this is the best one i have seen as i said they have about a 500 gallon tank if i had to geuss id say 8'*4'*30" filled with corals

Hi, I was wondering if you could do reptile lamps for SW i was just looking at my uromastyx lamp and it was 75 watt daylight lamp and i also have a 30 watt uvb one? would this lighting suffice for a 29 gallon or woud it be better to get the 30 watt coralife bulbs thanks.

30 watts 4 a 29 isn't enough. I think a reptile light will burn the corals bc that is a dif kinda light

im looking at getting RedSea's 34 gallon Cube.. what do you think about them

I personaly don't have one but a lfs has one and they like it. Very reliable

i would stick with lights designed for saltwater fishkeeping. Im dont know much about reptile lighting but i would imagine that the spectrum is way different then that of a light made for coral. Not to mention the wattage is god offel low lol. Again, get something designed for corals in mind

The 34 gallon bio-cube, good tank for a not bad price. I believe they make a Power Compact Flourescent kit and a Metal Halide kit. If it were up to me i would get the PC just because of the versatility in lighting. (IE) You get your daylight AND actinic, where as in the metal halide your just get the halide. The tank is to small to add an actinic bulb anywhere. This isnt to say that your coral will suffer, but the spectrum that actinic bulbs produce is very beneficial in the color of your coral, not to mention the color of coraline algae, fish, inverts and anything else in the tank with color.
