I think the aquascaping in the tank in your avatar is worse than every hybrid combined!

ZING!

I bought a Sera Biotop Nano Cube from Drs Foster & Smith, not chap at $260 for a 16g tank but it came with a nice looking stand and built in filtation, lighting, heater and pump. I added substrate, some rocks and plants and double the bio media.
Planted, with a dozen male wild type black bar Endlers I think it looks pretty good, next will be some RCS I need to relocate. Would like to add some Indostomus Crocodilus or Paradoxus if I can find anyone selling them.

I love nano tanks. I currently have a 4 gallon that I am getting ready to set up. I got it a while back but have yet to put any thing in it. I also like the extreme nano tanks or picos. There a many MFK members with small tanks. They may not be 500 gallon monsters but they have the MFK pride.

The smaller side of the hobby deserves respect.. More so than it gets today. I am slowly learning this and having fun doing it. Granted my smallest tank in a 10 gallon, I have had just as much fun setting it up and keeping it moving forward as my larger tanks.

We sell a lot of Nano marine tanks. Usually for 2 reasons; 1) people don't have the space for a huge tank or can't in an apartment or 2) don't feel like investing the thousands of dollars on a big marine tank if they don't know if they'll like it. You could set up a beautiful 25 gal with small reef fish and live coral for less than the cost of lighting a big tank.
