but dont worry about bulking up, it will not happen to a female

this is a natural (besides her breasts) female body with a lot of hard resistance training including weight lifting http://fheit.com/img/photos/calendarGirl/image001.jpg

you have nothing to worry about unless you are sticking needlesin your butt.
work out hard and dont let the "i dont want to be bulky" mentality keep you from lifting hard!

3-4 sets of 8-12 reps w/ 30-60 sec rest from best results in fat lose and muscle definition!

hmmmmm reallllly don't wanna look anything like those two women... im just looking to be toned.. that's all.. dont want any muscle definition at all... i prefer to stay curvy but soft... dont wanna look that muscly.. that's slightly worrying...

for long term health the key is cardio and core strengthening.

get a punching bag, some gloves, and hand wraps. great workout and stress reliever. i do about an hour every day on a heavy bag and it never gets old. great for ur core and awesome cardio. its my fav lol.

a bench and some weights might be the right option for you, you will not get that lean and in shape over night lol, they are in very very good shape with years of training so you should work out hard and your not going to lose your natural curves.

For what you want to do, you don't need any equipment. Running and pushups is all you need. Even sit ups for the abs don't need any additional hardware. You may engage in your running, situps, and pushups anywhere with no equipment. Use your money for more fish and tanks and be the best monsterfishkeeper you can ever be:D and throw in some bacon in your diet occasionally to grease those joints.

ok so i'll get the bench but i dont know about the weights, how heavy should they be?

with weights ive always been told lift as much weight as u can lift in like ten reps. if u cant do anymore than ten ur doing it right lol

ah link two excuse me :hypnotize i might just go throw up , you say that used to be a woman ?

if all you wana do is tone up just do exercises with your own weight press ups sit ups ect

if you wana add some weight get some large milk bottled with the handles then you can adjust the weight as needed

or you could just buy mussels. ;)

I have to be the devils advocate here. Those "fat guys" at the gym that are staring at you are working pretty hard I imagine to be "no so fat". And what is interesting is that when they get to their desired weight, you are going to be the one staring at them. And for the record, I'm not a "fat guy", but I probably will be in my older age. I just feel bad for someone who is trying to get fit and stay active so that people wont act like this. It's just as well though. I dont think your ego belongs in a gym where people go to try to feel better about themselves.
Why do you even want to work out? So people can see how much effort you put into making yourself look the way you want? That would be cool if you can decide who is aloud to look at you, and who is not. Or better yet. Go back to that gym and announce to everyone that you will now be picking and choosing who can view your magnificence.
