Update. I got my 10gallon hospital tank up and running again. Used the same water that he was in and filled up 2gallons with aquarium water that petsmart sells.

It has a old sponge filter going and yes I know he does!
he will get up and swim normally here and there but not a lot. I've been dealing with this since least Monday I have to say. I've tried everything :/ he shows signs of getting better then he gets bad again. Sucks.
could he have his stomach bubble thing pop or something or move out of place just a ]n idea of what could be happening
A lot of us came to a conclusion that it could easily be the swim bladder. It just takes a while for it to heal if it can. Taking it day by day with home
I hope he can make it. If not, I have a new flowerhorn I have an eye on at my lfs. It's a short body with a nice kok already
So I'm checking his poo and it's white with some yellow. I used clear on him the first day he was having issues and I think that's the yellow. How often can you use clear?
I hate to see this...been there. Hate to bring this up, maybe time to end his suffering. You're already eyeing another FH. Just saying...
I hate seeing this too but I want to give it a little more time. He is fighting! He swims like regular here and there. I'm eyeing it but probably won't buy it lol
Hey just read through all this and it sucks but I had my pacu do this same thing I did 80% wc daily for a week and put epsom salt in the tank he got better but had to give him away bc the size
Yea it does suck and I'm doing daily waterchanges also right now with adding aquarium salt each time.
