The 302 ok? I know it hums and moves.
I'm not sure if that's the original engine that came out with the car..
Which did the 350 come out in?

The 302 is one of the best ford engines made. The 69's came in either a 302W or the 351C. The only engine better for HP and Strength was the 390W & 428CJ. Both are almost impossible to find!!! And if you do Bring $$$$$$....... The only way to tell is to look up the vin #.

Eye Candy.....

That pic is pure sexy right there.

Yeah, all I see are 302's. I doubt I'd be able to find a 351 though.
And the 390W and 428CJ....forget about it lol

302 is a great engine. I'm actually going to make mine into a 347 Stroker.

Ford didn't make a 350, you're thinking of the 351 Windsor/Cleveland. I believe the Windsor came out in '62? 1967 was the first year it was put into mustangs.

That's the one I was thinking of.

The sad thing is I haven't had any time to work on it. :( It's sitting in a garage at my parents house right now. Lucky for me I bought it half restored. All the body work is pretty much done. It's sort of in pieces. I have to put Humpty Dumpty back together again! I bought it with 95% of the parts needed to finish it. Unfortunately it has a red interior which I would like to swap for some other color.

Here's a photo from the day I picked it up. Looks like hell, doesn't it? :D

Thanks, it will look more like this when it's done. :)

My brother-in-law has a shop and restores old cars (mostly mustangs) so I'm set.

That's exaclty like the 69 I missed out on was. Except Blue.

That should look nice.
