need help, this isnt good is it?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
This is what I would do, but I may not know all the circumstances. Drain 40-50gallons from the 240 and refill with hot water. This will raise the temp in the 240g.

Drain 30g of water from the 90g your aro is in and refill with water from the 240g. Now refill the 240g with water from the 90g. I would do this 5-6 times, this with equal the params in each tank.

For moving the aro I would drain the water in the 90 to about 8". Using a towel, lay across the bottom of one half your tank. Coax the aro over the towel and then pick up the towel at all four corners creating a sling. Move the aro to the new tank(assuming it is close). Move flters and heaters from the 90g to the 240g and the other fish.

Good luck with this.

Ya when I do this I actually use a pump. One time I even used a magnum 350 filter.

probably, i have 500w on my 240 and it keeps up easily, the calculator recommends a minimum of 244w for my tank, so assuming the temperatures are similar 400w should be fine, although it will be affected by tank material (glass/acrylic) and the lid you have
