Its always a good idea to have more than one heater ,they do fail i have 3 stealths on my 240g same deal with filters. Hows the aro any change, have you tried increasing the oxygen with a air pump?

When you do a water change, how much do you take out of the current tank he's in?

Drain it to 50% and start slowly filling it with water from the 90
by the time it's full the parameters should be close enough (as long as the temp is too)

Do you have a large koi net? That's all I'll use to move big aros.

you saying do this so i dont have to aclimate?
the whole 90 wont fill half the 240.

only nets i have are
umbrella net "could remove metal and lay under him" if long enough
shrimp nets "not sure if he would fit in one"
my big one is deep tho
other then that,i was going to read that thread how to move monsters.
:irked:
anyone have a teleporter?lol

If you fill your 90 with water from the 240 one or 2 times it will even it out

do you have any spare pumps laying around to move water from one tank to another?

is that to change temp or not to have to aclimate?lol
i have pumps but dont have long hose unless a garden hose would hook up to a pump

yes, both.

how warm is the water in the 240?

garden hose will be fine as long as it's clean and not contaminated.
