3. Tank mates: Anything with long flowing fins, Crayfish, even smaller ornamental shrimp are a no go imo with dwarf puffers, cray fish as mentioned could hurt / kill the puffers, and any fish with long flowing fins will definitely get nibbled on... The ornamental shrimp in my own experience has been touch and go, coz once they learn that they can eat the shrimp, then they will start to target them and take them down... Otos on the other hand might work, but may still end up with a few torn fins, same with the pleco...

Just wanted to add the bolded part to make sure the post was more clear :)

Awesome advice. Thanks so much! Yeah I'm thinking right now gonna be
2x dwarf puffers
3x otos
1x L200
4xcorys(tbd what kind)
10-20x RCS
So should I stick with blood worms for the puffers or what works best?

Also what plants would be low tech for inert sand. That puffers would do well with, along with my others I plan to stock. Or any other fish/ suggestions for my stock list. I'm going to have it heavily filtered and frequent wager changes so I shouldn't have to worry about the pleco being messy and the puffers.. Thanks again!

Awesome. Will do. So two pea puffers sounds good for like 10 Amanos 2 otos 4 corys 1 L200

Make sure you plant heavy if only doing 2 since one can fall victim to the other if there are not more to spread aggression

JI would prefer not to plant to heavily. I'm having a large intricate piece of driftwood in the tank. Would 3 be better to stop aggression. If not how many and how do I get them sexed from an online store?

From what I've read plants are a must for Dwarf Puffers. I think you should avoid online stores and try to get them locally. That way you can see the fish you're getting.

I'm planting for sure. Not heavy though. Ok I will see I can do. They said they get them in every now and then
