How many bulkheads does the pond come with? 2 One intake and one exhaust

Did you make any of your own bulkheads? Nope, when the filtration is setup I'm going to route the big filter through the current bulkheads somehow I think

Is it possible to cut the liner without compromising its integrity? sincerely doubtfull, I think it would end up leading to a rip in the liner causing catastrophic failure and a ridiculous amount of water on your floor :(

As far as I know the liner is fish safe... I don't believe there is any sort of chemical in the liner that is anti anything just a basic liner...so far all my fish have been doing fine in there. I've had natives in there for two months and my planiceps and irwini for about 3 weeks.

As far as adding an additional liner, that would add about $200-250 bucks to a pond thats only $100...so thats why I didn't opt to add additional liner plus it would look mad ghetto overhanging on the sides even more so then having a swimming pool fish pond in my house does already ;)

I know I need to update pics but I've been super busy lately and it looks the same as before, hopefully in the next couple weeks it will really take shape. I still haven't moved the TSN in there yet either... I will post some updates soonish though :) ~Trent

 I wonder what guests say when they see your mad ghetto swimming pool fish pond. :screwy: :grinno:

I remember a member called Peacockbass or something like that, had the same pool set up for his cichla. I think he had a submersible pump which is how he got water to his filtration. The only probelm with that is that submersible pumps draw a lot of electricity and add a lot of heat which will lead to insane evaporation.

The filter I'm running is a giant pressurized canister filter so it will just pull the water from the intake side of the pond into the filter, filter it, and then push it back out without any additional pump in the pond.

Having my pond at 78-80 already creates plenty of evaporation I assure you... and as for electricity...lets just say when I plugged in the ol' 1000watt heater and the the digital temp controller the lights dimmed a bit...

I'm getting a dehumidifyer very soon probably on Tuesday to help with that and its on the back side of my house so I just open the door occasionally to exchange the air supply in the room. The pond is also in a section of my house where no "guests" ever go unless they are relatives or my friends. Most of my and my family's think its awesome, a little over the top, but awesome non the less and for $100 bucks you really can't get anything bigger to truely MONSTER size your fish keeping :) ~Trent

I totally agree. :headbang2

I do, but they will go in my thread :P lol.

oh yeah that was in response to the pics question. I have to charge up my cam before I can download the pics. I am still having no luck on locating any 55 gal drums. I think I might have to fabricate my own filter for this guy. The tub works fine for now, but my fish are growing fast lol. All my fish love it. Especially the channel cats. Never seen them so active!

Wow really nice job, can't wait to see how it looks when everyone is situated, nice job!
