Not really anything new to report with Oliver. Tank upgrade is still moving along slowly. I just got the last of my pond fish outside so that freed up my 70gal. I moved Jade(white saum) and the schoolers out of the sump tank and into the 70. Now I can get the panels glued into place. After that plumbing should go fast.
For the time being I’ve moved all fish except a pleco out of Oliver and Greenies tank. Things have been calmer between them since.

He was so good for me this morning. He held still and posed for his picture to be taken:D That’s a very rare thing with him. Lol

His seam is soooo thick. Did it widen up as he got bigger?

Hotlipz seam so far changed from a pale yellow orange, like GT's pectoral fins are in color to a shimmery metallic orange. Just hope it gets thicker like Oliver's is.
 
Jexnell Jexnell Not sure how I missed your question, it did thicken as he grew. The same with my females. They start off very thin, but over their first year they really thicken up.

It’s been a few months since I last updated, and Oliver is in his upgraded tank now.
I tried to get a measurement on him, but of course he is a turd about it. He looks to be getting close to 10” now. I’m really hoping over the next year or so he can hit 12”. That is my goal with him.
To give an idea of size, those rocks he is in front of are 12” across.

Damn he's a beautiful boy! Makes me miss my River seeing everyone's pretty GT's.. :(

Nothing happened to her, she's still alive and getting more beautiful every time I see her.
The real estate wanted to put the rent on my house up more than I could afford, so my ex took it over and has all our animals with him. I'm currently trying to get another house. When I do I'm getting a custom "low" stand made for Rivers tank so that I can take her, the current stand it 3' tall and I can't do maintenance on it without risking injury, so a shorter stand is needed.

I might actually get onto Jeff to take some pics of her for me, she's getting so beautiful.. :D
