my fishes are fed well. i feed them when i get up at 5:30 in the morning, then at 4:30 after work, then a light snack at 10:00 at night. that is if they are hungry. the uneaten food gets sucked out.
that surely will not help combat drop eye...there are so many threads in here about drop eye..ping pong balls have been tried by many and failed..also even if you add hiding places in the tank the ck will not be hiding in the nite..and the aro wont be hiding either...the ck is an active hunter at night.KnifefishFan;4531516; said:also does any1 here use ping pong balls in the tank to combat drop eye?
i have a ping pong ball partially filled with water so it constantly floats just under the water surface. also have a fake plant floating just so my arowana is constantly looking up. what do you guys think?

what we have seen here on mfk is that DE usually happens on most aros after they have hit their head hard or jumped out..but its also something to do with the genes i guess.. there has been so much captive breeding that DE in silvers is almost a certainty...(except for koji who has amazing silvers without DE),KnifefishFan;4532754; said:i also read if there are flashing lights on top of the tank, that will help with drop eye...does this work?
