black finish is holding up nicely, any time I see such a nice dark theme I want to add a little green.

Was just reading through your thread yet again. Holy crap has the plumbing you done intimidated the hell out of me. Not sure I can do it.

You have any videos of the setup. Can't believe how clean the bottom is. Also, I was looking to see how obvious your drains are and amazed how hard it is to spot them with the black on black theme.

Any chance you can get a lot of light on the tank for a vid? I wanna see the lei under a bunch of 10ks or something.

The plumbing on the Ultimas is not nearly as bad as it seems. Keep in mind everything is doubled up so it’s a bit misleading in regard to complexity. Anything closed loop is pretty easy.

The project I switched to was much harder to plan.. It’s almost done so I’ll get back to finishing this setup soon

I have been going through the pages specific to your drip. Did you ever create a separate thread on your drip? Mainly I am curious about convertng my cold water drip to a hot water drip like yours. Considering you are running hot water from your water heater, do you think that puts a lot of extra strain on the hot water heater? I dont want to half the life of my hot water heater.

Also, how do you get the right mix of hot/cold water to get a temperate at 77 degrees or whatever you want? Does the mixing valve take care of that or do you need to sort that out?

I have not created a separate thread yet. Still doing finishing work in the room. The setup mounted to the wall, insulated, rocked and painted etc.. but I still need to clean up the lines. It wasn't too hard on my hot water heater and mine is old. The thermostatic mixing valve has a wheel on top. Set it and forget it type thing. Super easy
