I work 40 hours a week and take 20 hours of class at The Ohio State University as well as getting married next month so I am very busy and I am sorry for the slow progress and updates.
it is not as heavy as you would think and that miter pic is from two pieces of scrap
My plan for this one was to not make the same mistakes as last time and one of those was to make it as sturdy as possible. I am 300lbs and I can stand on it! I wanted to have detail but not do trim that would get damaged when I move it. I still live in an apartment (Im 22 years old) so I know I will be moving it more than once in the near future.
Hey everyone. This has been a LONG project. I got married in June and am getting ready to graduate college so this has been a side project.
The canopy is in primer and should be in paint this week.
I am having glass lids cut for the tank and will have them on by the end of the weekend so I can take the old canopy off and swap the lights over to the new lid.
