New canopy build

All I can say is wow. that is a really nice set up and is similar to what I want to do for my tank. I wish I was talented enough to do it myself. gonna have to bribe my buddy who owns a remodel company to come over and teach me how to build it. The router bit you used on the edges is really nice it made the whole really look high dollar in my mind. If you dont mind me asking what was your material costs on this one. once again very nice job.

As for cost I dont know it was so many trips to home depot and I had the lites from the old canopy. I bet I have less than $300 in it.

i made a 3/4" DIY hood for my 125g tank and it was insanely heavy i will never use 3/4 again i was always so scared it was gonna apply to much preasure to the tank and bust it when i had to take it off and put it on again.
