It's a 36 watt turbo twist 12x. Doesn't seem to slow down the flow of the fx5 at all. Awesome tank by the way. I can't get a whole tank shot of mine with the cabinet open without moving the dining room table out of the way. Way too much work! Haha!

I used to run a FX5 on a 55, water was so clean and the extra $20/month for electricity was worth it!

I just got an fx5 lastnite and set it up. I woke up this morning and there was water all over my floor. It seems that it is coming out of the "outtake" side around the orange flow control knob. Anyone ever have this happen??
i think I figured it out...one of the hoses didnt have a water tight connection. Alittle trim of the hose and a new clamp and I think we are good!!
the fx5 I got was used also. I think from the transportation the hose got squished so I took the little metal clamp off and pulled the vacuum like hose off of the valve and cut about two inches off so there was fresh hose and shoved it back on the valve and now theres no leaking!
